Corporate Social Responsibility at Comerica Bank

Patricia McCann is a Vice President at Comerica Bank, where she holds the position of Social Impact Practices and Corporate Social Responsibility. With extensive experience in corporate social responsibility, non-profit fund distribution, outcome measurements, board training, and volunteer management, she is a committed leader with a strong focus on community relations. McCann is also a certified Diversity Professional and has served in various capacities in different organizations.

McCann has been with Comerica Bank since January 2008 and is responsible for directing and managing community involvement programs across all markets. She oversees a team of 20 community involvement coordinators representing CA, AZ, FL, TX, and MI, and leads the bank’s DEI business resource groups and employee resource groups’ initiatives focused on social impact. She also manages Comerica’s annual budget and maintains relationships with civic, community, education, and local government stakeholders. McCann has also been instrumental in leading the efforts to achieve the Civic 50 honor presented by the Points of Light Foundation for five consecutive years, making Comerica one of the leading organizations in social impact practices.

In addition to her role at Comerica, McCann is actively involved in volunteering and community service. She is a board committee member for volunteer engagement at United Way for Southeastern Michigan and an advisory board member for the Michigan Diversity Council.

Recently, McCann was involved in a Comerica Bank initiative where colleagues packaged over 9,700 lbs of food for those in need at Forgotten Harvest. McCann, along with LaToya Rowell, NDCCDP, LaTonya McDonald- CPA, CAMS, CFIRS, Roxsand Y. Dobson, and Tobi Walker, helped package the food, emphasizing the importance of community involvement and volunteering.

McCann’s commitment to corporate social responsibility and community involvement has made her an exceptional leader at Comerica Bank. Her efforts have contributed to the bank’s recognition as a leading organization in social impact practices.
