When creating opportunities for young people to maximize their potential through professional performing arts training, Beverly Maddox is a name that cannot go unnoticed. Her remarkable efforts and dedication have brought success to the Mosaic Youth Theatre of Detroit, a dynamic collective of champions for youth, arts, education equity, and Detroit.

Maddox is a well-known business owner/entrepreneur and principal consultant at BFM Consulting Group, but her contribution to the Mosaic Youth Theatre of Detroit has been truly transformative. Her expertise in event planning, production, and logistics has been instrumental in organizing individualized meetings to full-scale events with up to 1,800 attendees.

Maddox has been with the Detroit Regional Chamber since 1996 and has held several positions. She is the Chamber’s liaison to the Michigan Economic Development Corp.’s Pure Michigan Business Connect program, where she helps strategize and execute more than 20 events annually. Maddox is also a Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) and holds a certificate in Project Management. In 2019, she was named one of Michigan Chronicle’s Women of Excellence. In 2010, she received the Oval award and was named “Meeting Planner of the Year” by Meeting Professionals International.
